3 cups flour
½ tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp sugar
salt to taste
½ cup curd
¼ cup milk
2 tbsp oil
2 tbsp ghee

Ingredients For filling


1½ cup boiled peas
½ onion, finely chopped
½ inch ginger, grated
½ tbsp coriander powder
½ tbsp cumin powder
½ tbsp red chili powder
½ tbsp garam masala powder
salt to taste
Coriander for garnish

How to make Matar Kulcha Recipe

First, take a bowl and mix flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
Then add enough curd, milk, oil, and ghee to it and mix it well.
Then add water little by little and knead a soft dough. Remember not to add too much water as it may make your dough too soft.


Then when the dough is kneaded, keep it aside for about 10 or 20 minutes.
Then heat the oil in the pan you will be cooking with if you are using it.
Then fry the onions until golden.


When onions are fried, add ginger and fry till its raw smell goes away.
Then add peas, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, garam masala powder, and salt and mix well.


Then cook for 5-7 minutes.
Divide the dough into 10 or as many equal portions as you will make.


Roll each portion into a thin piece of bread.


Place the pea mixture in the center of the roti and seal the edges tightly.
Heat a pan.


Place the kulchas on the pan and cook until golden on both sides.
