This recipe is very popular as a side dish with your main course or afternoon tea. To make this recipe, you need to cut the calamari fish into equal rounds, mix it with breadcrumbs, deep fry it until crispy, and eat it with tomato sauce, mayonnaise, marinara sauce, tartar sauce, etc.

This recipe is my favorite and I love it so much that I eat this recipe. It is a bit difficult to get this fish in our Kolkata but not impossible. So if any day my father sees this fish in the market he will bring it because along with me my father and mother love to eat this recipe.

When you make this recipe, you will see that there is a lot of juice inside and the outside will be a little crispy and you will have to eat something amazing that is beyond your imagination.

Ingredients For Fried Breaded Calamari Recipe

500 gram fresh or frozen calamari
½ cup buttermilk
1 cup all-purpose flour
⅓ cup cornstarch
½ tbsp baking powder
1 tbsp dried oregano
½ tbsp black pepper
¼ tbsp cayenne pepper
oil or Vegetable oil for frying
pepper to taste
Salt

How to make Fried Breaded Calamari Recipe

First, wash the fish well and dry the calamari well with a towel. Then cut them in equal size and keep them aside.


Then place the calamari in a bowl and add the buttermilk to it. Mix the calamari well so that each match gets well marinated. Then keep it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
Then in a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, oregano, black pepper, and cayenne well together.


Remove the calamari from the buttermilk and then add the calamari to your flour and other seasoning mixture, shaking off any excess flour from the fish.


Heat oil in a pot and fry the fish well. until they are golden brown.


Then when you fry, put the fish in a bowl and cover it with tissue paper so that the oil from the fish drips.


Your recipe is ready, you can eat it hot with your favorite sauce because it won’t taste good when it’s cold.
